Wanted - medium road bike

Hi guys looking to get into road biking, currently I spend most of my time on mountain bikes.

Looking for something with a half decent spec in size medium. Not looking to spend a fortune 400 euro is about all I have to play with.

Any advice or options welcome,

I bought a giant defy a few months ago. I'm new to cycling. It's good.

I have a 54 cm Specialized allez with 10 speed compact 105 set up. Older model allez, about 2010 I guess (I got it second hand 3 years ago). Aluminium frame, carbon forks (&seatpost).
Mavic aksium wheels. Well serviced, new chain. I have been using it as a second bike but recently picked up a nice carbon trek on donedeal, so it's feeling a bit unloved down the pecking order now.
Grand bike, has been in plenty of club spins and got me a KOM or two.
Would want 300 Euro for it, but I'm based in Kilkenny so would only suit if you are down the country a bit. Can meet within 25-30 mile radius, but at that value not worth me taking a long trip.
Let me know if it's of interest, in which case I can get myself organised to get some pics.

What height range does that suit? My young lad is outgrowing his Giant and we're not too far away from you.

Without looking at a sizing chart I'm going to say 5'8" to 6'0.
I'm about 5'10 and have a 100mm stem on it. I think I have a few other stems knocking about too if needs be. You're welcome to check it out sometime if in the vicinity.

Not sure what's the correct thing here as you have offered my asking in response to my reply to Dilbert.
Will give him until tomorrow evening to reply? in which case I'll accept your offer if not. Hope that's ok with mods - if not, will go with what they say.

I haven't read the whole thread but I'll most likely have a 2016 Planet X for sale shortly for 800€ish if that's of any interest to you
Only raced a handful of times and has only seen about a thousand km of riding since new.
Ultegra wheels and sram force drivetrain (pretty sure it's force - will have to double check)

Cheers, only looking to spend around 300, have not done any road biking so don't want to barell into it just in case!
