vicon spreader- hydraulic problem

    having trouble with my vicon spreader with hydraulic shut off. its putting a lot of pressure on the black plastic setting rod and is bending it pushing it back into the spreader housing.just wondering is the ram at fault or is something not connected properly.thanks

    This there two springs returning the single acting cylinder? On mine the springs got do corroded that they wouldn't actually stretch and cause the same issue.. replaced the springs and plastic rod as it broke eventually..

    It's a ram with a round ball on the side of it . I think it's called an accumulator

    Then you need to get the acculator discharged a little i guess.. that is what creates the return pressure..
