    Hey there,

I'm a 28 year old English dude living and working in Dublin looking to set up a covers band with a bassist mate of mine, with the idea to play gigs in the future.

I used to be in a band in Bristol, signed to a small independent label, playing regular gigs and recording some stuff as well. We dissolved after Uni and really I just miss it loads so wanted to get back into it, so I decided to post an ad and that’s how I met the bassist, who is from Dublin.

We’re looking for musicians (guitar, drum, keyboard) to join our band.

I play the guitar to a very good standard, and can play most things, and I also sing as well. I'm into melodies and harmonies, not bothered whether I'm the lead singer or not.

We are looking to play crowd pleasers tunes, but not the usual run of the mil ones (e.g. Wonderwall etc..) for pub/cover band type settings and possibly moving into wedding band territory in the future.

We're not asking for 3 rehearsals a week or to make anything stressful, I just want to meet up and play some tunes and have fun with it. I'm currently based in Grand Canal, and the studio we've sourced for rehearsals is in Smithfield.

If this sounds good to you then get in touch, I'll send some more info on.

    Cheers,

    Tommy

Any interest in doing rock/punk/heavy blues arrangements of Irish and English folk standards?

Also, this is actually the wrong forum. Ask a mod to move it to musicians wanted.
