Can you be s bit more specific, what is it to be used for, is it rigid pipe or or flexible?

It's rigid pvc pipe usually comes in 6 mt lengths, using it for potable water, it will be glued using pvc glue

I know Wavin used to produce such a pipe which was fitted to a lot of houses at one time, but not sure if they still produce it.

Maybe give Wavin a call and ask them, have you tried your local plumbing suppliers?
Hevac might also be worth a phone call as would Smallmans.

If it's old type 1/2" wavin (internal diamater) then thats not available anymore.
You need 1/2" wavin to coppor adaptors, which I haven't seen or needed for years.

Its a glue on fitting that takes a 1/2" compression fitting on the other end.

That's what I was thinking, nasty brittle stuff.
If it wasn't prepared, glued and set properly it could end in disaster.
The adaptors are definitely still available, the pipe may be, but I doubt it, probably something similar from limited suppliers for very specific applications.

The adaptors are readily available as there are tonnes of houses that have the wavin pipe in them.

Irish International in Cork always stock the adaptors.
