It's deja vu all over again, going for Vanishing Point in the 7:00 at Clonmel tomorrow at 6/4. Not a great price, but it was beaten by a very impressive looking Ornua who got slapped with a 128 rating and could very well handicapped at that mark. Conna Cross currently second favourite and showed improvement in a handicap rating coming second. However it's was only rated 97 and I think Vanishing Point is somewhere in between the 128 and 97 rating, so should be a stone better off than it tomorrow.

    TRIBUTE ACT 8.00 newmarket

Im confident this horse will prove to be way better than his current mark of 75. Won well on debut although idled a bit when in front and that was over 7f but tonight runs over a much more suitable distance for h'cap debut.
I would have a max bet on this but a couple of things are stopping me from doing so. Stable is 0-20 last 14 days but havent exactly been running badly. My other concern is a 218 day absence and may need the run but in my opinion is just too well h'capped not to have a punt.
opened 6/1 which i missed but on at 9/2

A small four race accumulator for me at York.
So Mi Dar; Exemplar; Brian The Snail; Taifbalady

The Dante is only two weeks before the Derby this year and it will be run on soft.
As A Derby trial this year that is not ideal.
This might be the year the bookmakers lightly raced hype horse (always one trained by Sir Michael Stoute) will actually perform (Crystal Ocean). Doubt it.

    Another days racing in Clonmel!
Some fine big fields but not of the highest quality. Makes the puzzle of finding winners even tougher.
I prefer an EW bet at a decent price so all my picks are based on this idea.
I reckon Little Haarth has a very good chance in the 7.35. He has been running against a better class of horse so this is a chance for him to get his nose in front.
Dawn in the Park EW if he gets in, currently a reserve, in the 5.30.
A Three Eighty who finished behind him at Fairyhouse came out and won @ 20/1 yesterday.
Magnetic Force (6.30) ran well enough the last day on the flat for his season opener and was a previous runner in this race.
Price gone on Aherlow in the 7.00 so a small EW on Louie the Second for me. Had kept some much higher company a few seasons back.
In the 8.10 I?ll have some EW on Bobbythegangster, course winner and another small EW on Bullowney.
Some money coming for Peggys Acre in the last (8.40) so will possibly back that as well as Glebe Girl which has a small bit of decent form.

Zig Zag at 14s in the 7.35 at clonmel looks way over priced to me.

Also like Theydon Park(7s) & Not Touch(16s) in the 6.30 and Courtin Bb (14s) in the 8.10.

ITV's flat coverage is a millions time better than their NH coverage.

I know yeah she sounds like Margaret Thatcher lol. I think the way they present the flat is better than they did the jumps. More slick.

Well, Ornua hacked up again. Aherlow seeing some money now, but you'd have to think it'd need to be pretty special to win.

What a hound, nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory there.
