So Enda Kenny is stepping down.

There will be a lot of varying opinions on his tenure but I would like to thank him for his service. Some of his decisions i did not agree with but they were made with the country as a whole in mind and in a democratic way.

So I would say thanks to him and would wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement.

    The quintesential Irish politician.

Do nothing. Take credit for the Good. Deflect the bad with a report, Tribunal or Commission of Enquiry.

The IMF ran his budgets and the only decent things that happened were exiting the Bail out which they cannot take credit for, the Equality Referendum which was a Labour policy and their interference in the Property market which has been a disaster front loading two years of inflation onto rents.

There's a thread on Enda in the Politics Cafe at the moment which is far more suitable for discussion.
