Hi folks, iv a Mk1 TT 225 QUATTRO, I'm happy with the power button would like a little more maybe 260 or less but want it set right and use useable power curve not on or off, the TT Bam motors are well able for much more so just want a little increase in relative terms.

Any suggestions? For a reputable tuner, I think being 4x4 rules out a good few.

    Thanks

May not be applicable but something to check.. on newer quatro/4motion systems it is possible to enable 'dyno mode' which sends all power to the front wheels. I am not sure if this is the same on mk1 TT?

Are you looking for just a dyno run and a power print out or a good mapper with a dyno to map it ? If you want a live map on a dyno then Joe Power is the only man he's based in Kildare mostly but worth traveling for.

If you want just a map with no dyno run Revo are an option too George Dalton on here is a Revo dealer.

From having owned an S3 with an AMK engine (identical lump) and having it mapped i can't stress enough the importance of upgrading the turbo intake pipe before getting it mapped - Forge motorsport is the one i went with.

As for rolling roads there are a few in Munster i know of, i know some years ago one was giving out exaggerated power figures and one was using a carpet drier as a fan, i don't know how they are now or even if they are still going.

I've always used westward in Enfeild or COuture Auto in Dunboyne, i know now there is a dyno in Monasterevin that Joe power himself uses that is also accurate.

As for the 4wd issue i've always pulled the fuse for the haldex controller when rolling a haldex car i'm on my 3rd haldex based car and have dyon'd 2 of them quite a bit.

Couture are long gone, I think the dyno Ian down in Galway now with a Honda specialist.

Iv used westward for rwd runs before and never really had any issue but a mate was charged 180e for 2 power runs with his Evo!!

OP have you considered road mapping?
