Problem with the sent messages

I've sent private messages to a couple of other users, and no problem, I can see them and their replies too in my private messages boxes.
Then I replied to them too, but these subsequent messages are not displayed. I can find them in the sent list, with the date corresponding to the sending time, but if I click on them, the only thing I see is the other user's reply. 

I can't understand the reason of this issue: I've already checked my CP and the box next to 'Save a copy of sent messages...' is already ticked. 

So, I don't know whether those users have received my replies or not.

Does anyone know what I should do?

Hi Oruam,

Going to move this to Site Development as it's a technical issue. Are you on the Legacy or Responsive site? There is a chance that only a blank message is being sent. The best thing to do, I would say, is to start a new message and copy and paste the other messages in (if you want to provide context); you can put

(without the spaces before the close square bracket) to add them as a quote. Hope that helps!

Thank you, I hadn't seen this topic. I was using the Responsive site (now I've switched to the Legacy, though)

I imagined that was the only thing to do.

It seems that now that I'm using the legacy site it's working.
