Do you know men who style their hair in a feminine manner?

It seems to be that a lot of men prefer to be low-maintenance. But considering the fact that the vast majority of men who are straight/gay/bi seem to keep their appearance relatively masculine, especially hair, I do wonder if it might be a condemnation in society to look feminine?

I don't mean men just having long hair which I know there are quite a few who do have it, but I mean keeping it in a way that looks 'styled' and neat. I see lots of women with short hair but it definitely looks feminine. Don't think I've seen that on a man, though lots of dyes and buzz cuts.

Your typing style is awfully reminiscent of John Jolie I have to say.

If men were to style their hair in a feminine manner, the priest would condemn them from the pulpit. Imagine how that would feel - having your name read out in mass to the congregation?

I wouldn't say society plays much of a role V.S. how men think in general.

My guess is that most men (regardless of which side they bat for) choose convenience and cost effectiveness over looking fab.

Most guys I know tend to have styled or neat hair, dunno whether I'd say that'd make it feminine though.

Came across an interesting one last night actually -

    Same Gender Loving

Same-gender-loving, or SGL, a term coined for African American use by activist Cleo Manago, is a description for homosexuals and bisexuals, particularly in the African American community. It emerged in the early 1990s[1] as a culturally affirming African American homosexual identity.

SGL was adapted as an Afrocentric alternative to what are deemed Eurocentric homosexual identities (e.g. gay and lesbian) which do not culturally affirm or engage the history and cultures of people of African descent. The term SGL usually has broad, important and positive personal, social, and political purposes and consequences. SGL is anti-hate and anti-anti-Black.

In a 2004 study of African American men, most of whom were recruited from black gay organizations, 12% identified as same-gender-loving, while 53% identified as gay. Men attending Black Gay Pride Festivals in nine U.S. cities in 2000 responded similarly, with 10% identifying as same-gender-loving, 66% as gay, and 14% as bisexual. Recent studies indicate that African-American disadvantaged youths are less likely than Euro-American youths to self-label as gay male, lesbian, or transgender youths.

I'll need an explanation of "hair styled in feminine manner" before I can answer that one.
Especially considering that I as a woman can rarely find hairstyling products here that aren't explicitly for men and smell extremely masculin.

You know ... washed, and brushed with a comb and/or brush.

No..I don't know many women who have hair that looks 'feminine' either, though as in looks styled as you described it. The only difference between male and female hair is usually just length. I only really see women make their hair any more different or styled on nights out

If a guy looked like he spent an hour in the morning putting wax in his hair and getting it all early Justin Beiberish, I'd be put off.

Anyone who spends more time on grooming than I do is a no-no. Life's too short to obsess over your looks.

Eoghan McDermott looks like he puts a lot of time into getting his hair right.

Hmmm..I don't think Justin Beiber tries to emulate a 'feminine look' despite many of his haters saying he lacks balls (literally). He just has a 'retro' form of masculinity

I was thinking of feminine hairstyles like the ones below.

Are those girls not just out of bed and haven't had a chance to brush their hair?
