There was a bit of a boards uproar last year when Motorpoint stopped selling to Irish customers post Brexit. Seems they have come to the senses and selling to Irish customer once again.

I think you still need an UK address for them to send registration to.
Or did they tell you this changed?

Probably because they realise on how many sales that they are losing to Irish customers which is a huge market at the moment. I hope people boycott them now and let them suffer what they started.

Didn't get into great detail, just asked about selling to Ireland. Before the ban I had bought a couple of cars from them and never required a UK address.

Needing a UK address from an Irish resident is bit of a contradiction given that an Irish resident wouldn't have one.

I'm guessing you can use AddressPal
Create a virtual UK address when you register with AddressPal.ie. Use your virtual address when ordering goods online and collect them at your local Post Office.

I have often seen their vehicles on autotrader.

    Why was there a ban?

Was it just an "Irish" thing or anyone resident outside the UK?

Have we offended them in some way:D
