    Hi Guys,

Looking for a set of junior clubs for my nephew. He is only starting off and doing an intro course for 6 weeks so I dont want to spend too much on them in case he doesnt like it. Was wondering if anyone would have any recommendations for where I might pick up a set. Im in the Galway area.

    Thanks

Lots of places do "US Kids Golf" clubs. They are colour-coded based on height. They vary in price from around €23 for the 5-6 year olds to about €30 for 12-13 year olds per iron. The hybrids/ woods are slightly more expensive but only by €3 or €4.
If he's <10 year old, a 7 iron, wedge, hybrid, driver and putter will be enough.
You might also pick some up 2nd hand if you call into some of the shops in golf clubs.

Us kids would be the slightly more expensive but the sizing is great and the availability is great. Pay about 180 for 5 club set with a bag. There are a lot of cheaper sets out there but the us kids just felt a better weight. Md kids are kinda similar but I've not had them in my hands

My little guy started with a cheap Dunlop set now he's on us kids . As soon as he changed he was able to hit the ball higher with the better Balance and weight of the US kids

i bought a set second hand for ?25 last year. Us Kids bag, putter, driver, hybrid, 7 iron. keep an eye on adverts, plenty of them around. Great clubs and the bag is deadly.

Paying ?180 for new kids clubs for a starter is a bit mental.
