Entered PiN 3 times incorrectly

    Hi,

    I used visa debit card to withdraw money from my account. I entered PIN 3 times incorrectly and the ATM said to contact my bank (received an email from BOI to let them know if it was me doing the transaction and I did.

     I am abroad at the moment so I cannot call my branch for assistance.

    Could you let me know when i will be able to use the atm card again, or if I have to do anything about it.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.

    If the PIN was entered incorrectly 3 times at the ATM, it automatically resets overnight for you and will allow you to withdraw funds again once correct PIN is entered.

    If you have received mail from our Security Team and you're still experiencing difficulties after the reset PIN overnight you will need to call our Team from abroad on 00353 14885466.
