    Hi All,

I'm 25 and I'm looking to get car insurance in my own name for the first time.

I have 3 years named driver experience (No claims) and I have my full licence since October 2014.

I also have no penalty points.

My car is a Renault Megane 1.5 2012 valued at €10,000.

I've gone to a few insurance companies and obviously there are a few that are mad prices.

    AIG - €4000
    123 - €2400
    Allianz - €2800
    Aviva - €2900

Liberty and FBD are roughly €1300 which is awesome!!

Just wondering is there any cheaper reliable insurers out there?

Should I go to a broker?

    Thanks guys :)

Yes go to a broker. Call every other possible provider too.

See the sticky thread "List of insurers" for more companies.
