Log Cabin House

    Has anyone any experience of the log cabin style houses? Similar to this?

    there a NUMEROUS threads here already about log cabins

    do a search and you'll find an extensive list

    there are two main problems
    1. achieving planing permission
    2. achieving building regulation compliance

    Ok you will need an architect. Really helped our planning
    Compliance wasn’t an issue but check the windows. Nordic houses require windows opening inward (snow fall). Ireland refs need them opening outward
