Hi guys, I am hoping someone here will be able to give me some advice regarding the HAP scheme. My family are in bad need a place to live and unfortunately the only option at the minute is the HAP scheme.

We have been looking for a number of months but once we mention HAP it seems our chance of getting the place just disappears.

Is there anything I can do to try help my chances of finding a property?

Any advice regarding HAP would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

I'm sorry to say it but look in less desirable areas and properties that have issues (and factor in fixing them).

You absolutely should not be discriminated against but the system is so screwed up it's not funny, most LL's will run a mile based on nothing more than it being an unknown.
