Pay for Gardai holding a degree

    I've read some posts on the forum claiming that a Garda with a degree has a pay increment after the probationary period.
    Is it true? I can't find any official information about this.

    There used to be an allowance but I don't know if it's still the case.

    Yes it's still the case. Check the GRA website
