    hi i brought a motorbike i seen the logbook checked the numbers and filled it in it has been 6 weeks and i still havnt got the logbook and when i tryed to ring the person i brought it off his phone is off can i have a bit of advice what to do thanks ?

    Ring Shannon and see if they posted it. If not did you buy at their home? Go back and ask them to post it, if not it you need to see a solicitor.

    You can check whether a new Reg book has been issued via the motortax.ie website - all you need is your reg number.

    Ring shannon, tell them the logbook is gone missing/lost. They'll take the bike details and send you out a form to sign and send back and you'll get a new logbook in the post shortly after. No need to mess around chasing people or solicitors.
