Golden Media Unibox 9080 (Sat & Saorview combo box)

    Hi,

I've an old Golden Media Unibox 9080 which is a combo box, connected to my dish (Astra 28 degrees East) and also my Saorview antenna.

The box only gets turned on about 1-2 times per year, so over the course of time it's lost some of the channels (basically as a result of channels having moved transponders over the years).

Rather than have to go and figure out how to search for individual channels, then save them and update the EPG etc. I gather there may be a faster way - perhaps being able to download all current frequencies for FTA channels from Astra & current Saorview channels onto a USB key, then plug the key into the back of the machine and let it update automatically.

Anyone able to confirm if this can be done and if so, please point me in the right direction so I can download the frequencies etc ?

    Many thanks.

    Thanks,

    G.
