Using Agfood.ie to temp move cattle to sheep farm

    Hello,

I've been trying to use AIM on agfood.ie to temporarily transfer some cattle to our herd number, but am hitting a wall.

By the tutorials on agfood, moving cattle around seems simple enough, but as 'Sheep Keepers' we don't appear to have a similar range of options in AIM. Only the census. No movement tab.

Is this normal? Must we register as cattle keepers even if they're only to be here temporarily.

    Any insight appreciated!

    Regards,

    Zeal

Having a flock number does not mean you have a herd number even if they turn out to be the same number.

You'll need to apply for a herd number to take them in
