Deserved. Pleased for Antonio Conte in particular. His emotion & honesty on the sideline was refreshing to see in this day & age.

They were the best team in the league.

Chelsea were a different team last season and it was clear it was Jose Mourinho that was at fault.

It just goes to show if your not in European competition you could win the league.

    Pleased for Antonio Conte.

Funny season really, they had a slow start but went on a big run after thrashing United 4-0 at the Bridge and never looked back. They certainly didn't look like running away with it up until then.

    Completely and utterly deserved though.

Well done Chelsea and congratulations to the Chelsea supporters on here.

Conte changing the system at half time when down 3-0 at Arsenal in September feels like a lifetime ago now.

115mins before tonight I think, 17sub appearances and no starts.

2 goals and 1 title. :pac:

He got the cruicial winner against Watford too.

Do I have to say something nice about Chelsea?

They all have lovely bottoms. :p

We weren't expecting Conte to hit the ground running like that. And it wasn't looking great after 6 matches. But then that run - 13 wins on the spin!

Anyhoo, give the man the control he wants. There's plenty more trophies where that came from. And he needs his UCL.

Thing is they're almost the same players as last season where Chelsea fans had the knives out for them to all be sold off in the blood letting around Mourinho's demise and departure.:pac:

But Conte got them back into gear and smartly added Luiz and Kante and they deserve the title..

Hindsight is a great thing. Getting rid of Jose at the time seemed stupid. I wanted him kept and players to go but that would have gutted the squad. They cut out the poison (jose) kept the players and hired a more amiable manager whos no push over and got the squad back in line.

It was much easier to get rid of jose than 5-7 players, in hindsight, which is a wonderful thing and im delighted Roman oulled the trigher or we would have had another 5th-10th season under Jose IMO.

Didn't see Chelsea winning it at the start of the season, what a complete change in attitude from the likes of Hazard and the Costa.
All down to Conte, instilled in them over a whole season what Jose only managed once against Spurs last season.
CL must be the be the holy grail again (hopefully) as it will give others a chance at the title again.
    Well done ye deserve it.

Well done Chelsea, the entire first 11 have been outstanding. Then you have Fabregas and Willian with big contributions.

    And a certain Russian chap.

I'm nearly certain he was around last season as well.

Pretty much so on the '5th-10th' point. With the rider that the way things were going, we were in serious risk of actual relegation. Doesn't bear thinking about.

Hey, they put pressure on, Kane won golden boot, Lloris nearly won the golden glove and they were the "best" side in the league.

Chelsea pick up the league Munster into PRO12 final ''twas a good weekend - next weekend could be a classic.
Some resilience in that Chelsea side think the sum greater than the parts thanks to ToL
