Insurance for couple who have moved here from Australia

    Hi all,

    I'm looking for advice. My friend has moved back to Ireland from Australia and both her and her husband have full clean Australian driving licences but they are finding it really difficult to get insured. Can anyone offer advice on the best options available. It is a real problem as he needs a car for his new job.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    I was chatting to someone who moved back and they mentioned "ARB Underwriting"

    Will be costly though

    Hi Eliza,

    I'm about to move back from Australia to Ireland too and motor insurance is probably my no. 1 stress!

    Did they find someone to insure with?

    Did they bring their own car back from Australia?
