Grown Up Talk for 11 year old

My daughter is not long turned 11 and is about to have a "grown up" talk in school. It is both 5th and 6th class having the talk. They haven't given much details on what will be discussed so I'm unsure how much I need to go through with her beforehand. She knows all about puberty and periods but I haven't gone into sex and she doesn't seem to know too much in relation to it. We are open and I want to make sure I cover all topics beforehand so she isn't surprised by anything on the day so I was wondering would anyone know if they cover sex during this talk and how much do they go into?

It depends really. There's no way to get certain reassurance other than by asking the school.
In my experience, the 5th class talk is more about puberty and periods, and the 6th class talk goes into sex. We do them separately. Parents are usually given information to read before hand.
That's not how every school will approach it so best ask a teacher or give them a ring.

Thanks, I did think they would be separate so it threw me that they are doing them together?

We use Busy Bodies, a letter is sent home to the parents before it gets to "that bit"
This booklet outlines the material covered :

That is perfect! Thanks! Just the right amount of information. I'll print that out for her.

Might be an idea to check what programme they're using in school.
