    04 Ford fiesta i believe.
    No tax
    No nct
    Tracking needs to be fixed
    93,000km mileage
    1.25 litre

    Asking price is 2,000.
My question is do you think that is a fair asking price for what's on offer?
I'm a learner driver and have no idea when it comes to things like this.

That's bonkers, it's not that even with a years test.

It's more a €600-700 car as it stands and €1400 tested.

Why the big bump when tested? Does it cost a lot to get nct. I honestly am a complete novice in this area

Price is crazy. Good car to learn to drive in.

No, but people don't want to buy an older car without NCT unless it's cheap

Car you are being offered is very overpriced. Look at attached link.

Having an NCT doesn't mean you're getting a good car, but it certainly means you're getting a car that's at my least somewhat roadworthy. If a car doesn't have a test, the question is why not. Costs E55 to get (if the car needs nothing) and definitely makes the car more valuable. A car of this age could have major structural rust meaning its actually worth more like E100/200. If you don't know anything about cars, you can immediately cut out anything without a test, then you need to get a mechanic to inspect it for you first.

Thanks for all the input i will most definetly avoid that one and look for nct'd cars only.

2k for a 13 year old Fiesta with no test is just nuts. Even with a test it's expensive, more a 1500 car with a good bit of test on it. And the reason for the price difference is that without a test the risk is higher for the buyer so the price needs to reflect that.

Overpriced and a con are very different things.

It'd be a €1300/€1400 car with a fresh NCT and proof of timing belt been done. That's provided it's at least got painted Bumpers and electric windows and not a basic.

Timing Belt is due every 100k/10years, But I'v had a 2004 still on original belt.
