Flue for boiler

    Hi,

We have an oil boiler in the boiler room. It's a Firebird Popular 150, the flue goes out the wall and up the boiler chimney.

The Chimney is massive in width and height and I was wondering if we can connect a new flue that goes out the wall because we would like to demolish the chimney to give more space in the garden.

    Many thanks
    Brian

If boiler is pre 2002 consider replacing it for more efficient model.

Look up Firebird low level flues, ventilation requirements and what's allowed are also on their website.
Your plumber or service engineer might change it.

Thanks, it's 8 yrs old. Failing plumber and service engineer. Who would normally change it? Any recommendations greatly appreciated
