Having some hassle trying to set up a standing order with a supplier. They are with AIB and are saying that AIB no longer accept standing orders from BOI customers via the usual form and they have had to ask other suppliers to set them online. However, I don't see any option to set one up online. Any info on this?

    Good Morning extra gravy,

Thank you for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

If you are registered for 365Online you can set up a Standing Order via Manage Payees on the left-hand menu. Just choose 'Standing Orders' from the drop down list and select the account you wish to pay from. If your mobile is registered you can choose to have the activation code sent to your mobile as an SMS. Alternatively, it will be issued out on the post.

Upon receipt of this code you'll be able to activate the Standing Order and choose the start date and this will then be visible online the following working day.

I hope this helps and if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact us again.

Thanks Elaine. I'm registered for business online so do I also have to register for 365 online in order to do this?

Thank you for coming back to us here extra gravy,

As you're not registered for 365Online you can complete this form here and return to the the stated address. Please ensure that the relevant signatories on the business account also sign the form. Depending on your account type you may also be able to set up 365Online with your business account so that you can establish Standing Orders and manage them easily online. To discuss this further just contact your business relationship manager/adviser in your branch.

    Thanks again,
    Elaine
