Jobseekers for Students?

    I'm currently in college, i had to quit my part time job in november due to the amount of work i had to do with college i couldn't keep it all up. I'm receiving a small monthly payment from the susi grant at the moment which will end at the end of this month. Would i be entitled to jobseekers allowance for the summer months until i get a temporary job?

    as far as i know you wouldnt be eligible for jobseekers if you are just on summer break from a course. You would have to be completely finihsed the course and provide proof of this.

    You can't apply for welfare until you've completely finished your course and even at that you have to wait three months after you've finished. It's to prevent people from signing on during the summer and then going back into college.

    No. you might get your part time job back for the summer?
