Is engineering better in UCD or Trinity?

I am hoping to be doing an engineering course and I'm wondering which college has the best courses in terms of everything, education and social. I have seen other posts but they are from a few years ago and wondering if anything has changed? Thank you.

Do TCD still give a 'free' MA a year or two after the main event? I was pissed after my brother got one, and the UCD crowd (me) didn't. 1980s vintage info.
