    Hi All,

Travelling here next month and looking for a few tips as we are bringing our 2 kids both under 5.

Flying Ryanair can I bring along a single stroller buggy free of charge or do I need to book this ahead of time? ie: can I just turn up with it on the morning of our flight?

We have an early flight in the morning (06:30am). Is 2 hours enough to get through security and through T1 for the flight (people have been telling me its a long walk to Ryanair gate).

Is lastminute-transfer good/reliable to book airport transfers?

Parking - where is good to park up the car for 10 days? Quickpark or Bewleys?

Any other tips/advice would be much appreciated.

    Thank you ðŸ˜႒

Hi. No problem with the buggy. Take it to the check in desk and you can either have them take it there or they'll put a luggage tag on and you can take it through to the gate with you and leave it at the steps as you board. On arrival you can pick it back up at the baggage reclaim - it'll come out with all the other luggage.

Two hours is plenty of time, however on a weekday morning it can be pretty chaotic due to the number of early flights. In T1, keep to the left as you go through the barcode scanners and security will guide you to a family friendly line (or at least any time I've used T1 they have!).

Yes, Lastminute are great for transfers, I used them once myself, but last few trips I've hired a car from the airport as I've found that between the cost of transfers and taxis when I'm there, a car has been a better investment. Plus, it's great to be able to just up sticks and explore when the kids get too hot or need a diversion. Advise Lastminute when booking that you require two child seats. Once you leave the baggage hall, you'll see their reps and they'll point you in the right direction to go to your transfer car/minivan.

Park in Quickpark. Book online ahead of time and use the discount code WOOF to get a few quid off!

Never stayed in CT, so can't offer any tips for that resort. Do try to get out and explore the island though. It has so much more to offer than what you get in the resorts!

Another shout out for lastminutetransfer - we used them a good bit before we started hiring cars and they were always on time and good value. Always stayed in Playa Blanca so not much to tell you re Costa Teguise but The Sands looks really good - enjoy.

I usually just get a cab to Costa Teguise. It's about €25 if I recall correctly.

Kids need baby or booster seats though, so unless you bring your own, taxi isn't really an option.

Thank you all for your helpful replies.

Sorry 1 last question. I have a double buggy (out and about double buggy). Would there be any issues with Tyanair taking this double buggy versus a cheap single stroller?

Some people have advised us to bring the double buggy in the event the kiddies get tired - handy both could sit in it. Just worried there might be some restriction and Ryanair might not take it or try to charge us?

    Thank you

All buggies are carried free of charge, there is usually a baggage trolley beside the plane where they take them and the free gate bags.

We always took a Quinny Buzz, which if anything, is even more cumbersome than the O&B Double! Never refused or even queried on Aer Lingus or Ryanair. Only problem I found was getting trough security with it coming back from Lanzarote and it had to be disassembled (including taking wheels off!) to get through the scanner. Although security were being particular dicks that day. Ever since then we've always checked the pram in when putting our luggage through and avoid that nonsense!

This year is our first family holiday without a pram! Little one is three this year...
