Hi, I completed 2 years in Tralee RTC back in the 90's, I received a National Certificate in Mechtronics after my 2 years, I believe this is a Level 6 Hetac qualification.I am thinking of going back to education to move up to a level 7 or level 8, do I get any credit for the 2 years completed already or do I have to start…

I don't understand the credits system so if anyone can explain that it would be greatly appreciated. For example how many credits do you need to get a level 7 or are they even related, as you can tell I have no idea about these systems.
