One day many years ago I saw a video of this being done on some or other daring rescue programme with lots of other different clips Some lad was trying to land a small enough plane but the landing gear was stuck on one side so they tried to have him rest the wing on the roof of the pickup except the pickup wasn't fast…

One day many years ago I saw a video of this being done on some or other daring rescue programme with lots of other different clips

Some lad was trying to land a small enough plane but the landing gear was stuck on one side so they tried to have him rest the wing on the roof of the pickup except the pickup wasn't fast enough. Then the passenger of the pickup opened the sunroof and reached up to give the landing gear a pull as yer man flew overhead which amazingly worked out alright on the day.

Anyone know any more about the incident or have a link to the clip?

Reminds me of how the two lads who set the flight endurance record (64 days) refuelled and restocked to avoid landing.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.
You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.
Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
