Interesting looking bumper at Kelso tomorrow. Former Irish trained mare Sense Of Urgency had some very decent bumper form over here and but for last run would probably be close to favouritism today. Think it has as much chance as anything else that's out but is value at 10/1, so going to have a small e/w bet on it.

Another bit of a punt in a way, Russian Soul has been a real venerable type, excelling especially over the AW in Meydan, Ireland now now recent moved over to Jamie Osborne over in England. Dropping down to a class 4 to take advantage of a lower handicap rating on turf, this is surely a little over priced in the 5:05 at Chester tomorrow. 3 from 38 on turf, and now getting on in years, however it hasn't been this well handicapped since its early career. Small bet on a really genuine horse who has done me a good turn a few times in the past.

6:45 Dundalk - Two total cliff horses out tomorrow, Straits of Zanzibar available at a huge 33/1. Winner of 78 at Listowel over a mile just last year, goes out tomorrow off just 70 To say that this is the absolute outsider of the field is just crazy to me and I wouldn't put anyone off backing it at such a huge price. With that said, I will be giving it the swerve in order to back Rummaging instead, an altogether classier individual with more recent proven form and who is now at a very dangerous handicap mark. 7/1 best price - win or nothing.

Ive taken the 9/1 on COLLA PIER 8.45 who has to be thrown in here compared to his hurdle mark. Is 0-13 on the AW but hasnt been out of the places in his last 4 starts and gets his chance today over a more suitable 2m. The booking of Billy Lee adds to my confidence and theres a bit of money about in places.

9:15 Dundalk - A lot of "shrewd" trainers with horses in this race, so I have picked an under the radar horse that has been useful over the jumps this season. Colla Pier is one that seems to enjoy decent ground over 2m races so should be completely at home over a 2m AW race tomorrow. 9/1 best price, but has been nibbled at already. If it was trained by some of the supposedly shrewd trainers it races against tomorrow, it'd be half the price.

    Haha, snap.

Horse can race very keen, hope the jockey is well instructed. We will know our fate after a few furlongs...

Have had a maximum bet on eadaoins pet in the 8.15. Been told the yard think it's very well in.

Knights Templar carrying an all time low handicap rating in that race and been nibbled at already. Think is well in too, but reckon this might only be a prep race for an appearance on turf later in the Summer.

They are unlucky to be drawn so badly so.

Statistically no bias drawn wide over 7 furlongs in dundalk.

War Goddess 14/1 Dun 8.45.This is seriously overpriced imo.Fastidious 11/2 is again still well treated and should beat these. At Chester Yogi's Girl 5/1,Sir Maximilian 7/2,Watersmeet 12/1,Gin in the Inn 7/4.Pomme ,Newton Abbot 2.05.Currently 6/1 this will win if money arrives MAX bet if shortens from 6/1.

Requinto dawn and who dares wins Chester.
The first has the class and the latter the stamina and ground to suit.

The stable don't gamble so no point in looking at the market for inspiration. He is trying every time he runs but they would love to win at their local track Bellewstown.May as well run him at Dundalk for some prize money than at the beach in Mornington.

Anyone else noticing a track bias at Dundalk.
Centre of the track is the place to be up the straight.
Anything near the rail struggles to make up any ground.

I've gone for My Manekineko in the next Dundalk 8/1
Pat Smullen aboard and won the race last year.

    Backed it EW

Found out tonight I'm no longer eligible for BOG, MBS or any other offers with them from now on. That's them betway, coral and BF (pre merger) that I'm restricted with. :(
I'll be in the shops with the tramps at this rate.
