OT, but how do you feel about house parties?

    Sorry-but there's no 'party' forum.

Off topic, but how many do you think is too many for a house party?
And how do you feel about attending them?

Talk of hosting a party for about 100, but I think we're best have it in a pub/hotel.

I've had successful parties for about half that.
There aren't suitable caterers for what we'd like locally, but I'm not bothered about fancy food.
My concerns are about space and entertainment.

Typical living/kitchen/dining set up, sitting room, generous hall and box room.
Weather probably wouldn't be great for outside, though we would get heaters if it was worth it.
    It would be pretty cramped.

Would a MP3 player be sufficient?

It would be an informal, mature do.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think it's a bad idea!
