Getting Elected to Dublin City Council

Hi All,

Out of interest does anyone know the process for getting oneself elected to DCC? Anyone know someone with experience of what's involved?

I would love to see an infiltration of the Council from people with..ahem...a different perspecitive from the current lot....

Glancing at their website apparently anyone can apply as an Independent, and just require 15 people registered to vote in DCC elections to give their blessing.
