Leak at bottom of hot press

    Hi,

    I have this leak at the bottom of my hot press, can anyone please advise as to what the cause is, and possble diy solution ?

    If you can't see the source and you right there, how can we be expected to find it from a picture. You need to identify the source and post a pic of that. Then we might be able to help.

    I may as well be looking into a bush. I guess I was looking for guidance. What is that pipe for that is leaking ? (The leak is coming from that small pipe right above the lunchbox)

    Does that pipe go back up to some sort of valve?

    Looks to be soldered into the 3/4" and the end sealed, looks like the end just needs re-soldering again.
    I've seen this same set up before in apartments in Dublin 4 where odd bits of pipe are left attached with the ends soldered closed.
