Highly unlikely there will be any Irish date looking at their schedule.
The second half of that tour is all in stadia with closable roofs.
September is out due to GAA in Croke Park and October would be too late for an outdoor concert .

they might do a UK/Ireland arena tour in November or December but its highly doubtful. More than likely might play a few shows in the o2 arena london and thats it

Love to see them but think the chance could be gone as there not young men and this could be the last tour :(:(:(. Cant afford to travel to see them

Unless they play the Aviva in September, the stadium is about the size of other venues on the tour. Aviva has hosted gigs in September in the past as well.

logistically it would have to be between the 1-7 september as there more and less in central europe for the whole of september

Roger Waters did not sell many tickets and was prob easier to manage in september than say a sold out stones gig

    never know though

How much would a ticket be? €100?

Would be very expensive as the Rolling Stones are known for their high prices and dynamic pricing .

    These are the Amsterdam Prices

    Seats :82.50,104.50,125,155,205
    Standing:109
    Golden Circle Standing :190

    Stockholm
    Seats: 76 to 215 euro
    Pit: 275 euro
    Front Standing : 215 euro
    Standing: 110 euro

    Barcelona
    86 to 290 euro

That's true ,the Aviva could host them ,the reason I mentioned Croke Park as the Stones were supposed to be the third gig there this year .

RWC is 2023, Croker is fully booked every weekend in September so be hard to see a roll in/roll out for gigs let alone impact the surface with a final every weekend.

But wouldn't Ireland and UK dates have been announced the other day if they were going on.

I think the best we can hope for is a jaunt over to the o2 or the Ethiad Stadium in Manchester in the last quarter of the year.

Just read they've ruled out UK shows for this year due to no venues at time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,494 ✭✭✭finbarrk

GA tickets went fairly quick on the dates that went on sale the other day. The more expensive seats were still available earlier today at a couple of the venues.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,494 ✭✭✭finbarrk

I got a Barcelona ticket earlier anyway. Lower level seat. €127.

Spare ticket for Paris 25 October available.

    For €750 you can get
    PIT Ticket and Hotel Experience
    To include:-

One Incredible General Admission Floor/Pitch Standing Ticket in the
    ULTRA-Exclusive No Filter Pit

A choice of overnight hotel accommodation close to the venue
    (additional nights available upon request)

    Complimentary breakfast

    Commemorative ticket pack

Tickets and Information packs sent in advance

    24/7 Customer service

    All taxes

So if you want to be in the front pit you gotta buy one of these it seems. That's for Barcelona. It's seems normal standing and most of the seated are sold out so it's either this or a seat up in the rafters.

I'm heading over to Amsterdam to see them. Really looking forward to it. Paid €155 for a really good seat.

With flights and hotel it adds up to much more obviously but it's the Stones..... and one of them could be gone in the morning and I'll never get another chance!

Saw them in Havana Cuba! Such an epic show, somewhere around 600,000 to 700,000 people and they played nothing but there biggest hits. What a nite
Have some awesome video, wish I could post it?

Great night in Amsterdam. Enjoyed the first half (some less commonly played songs) more than the second (hits, hits and more hits) though.

Also a great night in Barcelona last week. There was an amazing amount of South Americans that travelled over for it. Uruguay, Argentina and Peru especially. Never smelt such a strong cannabis smell as on the pitch that night!

They released a movie about it last year. The trailer is here.

Actually, I'm not sure was that the free concert now.

really hope it's happens this time and not be false alarms like 2014/2017.

Aviva is the most likely (Maybe 2x dates) but the RDS, Phoenix Park, Punchestown and Slane are options (although they always have Slane planned before Xmas each year). unless they promoters talk the GAA into having a 4th Croke Park concert ??

love If they played PUC in Cork

Would be a massive coup. Pros: Imagine most regular gig-goers from outside Dublin would enjoy the novelty factor. Con: Bitch of a journey.

Do you think the people of Cork would pay the astronomical prices the Stones charge ? Not a hope

Aviva is the most likely venue ,they will want a venue with alot of seats so that they can implement their dynamic ticket pricing .

    just hope they play here

Aviva or RDS i reckon, prefer the Aviva

not looking forward to the ticket price, €200 for a good seat i reckon. It will sell out though

It was a money row that prevented them taking the 3rd Croke Park last summer as was reported. I imagine a similar thing not happening this time round

Sat 30th June Aviva Stadium is sticking out for me (only me speculating no offical word on this date or venue)

Billy Joel is playing there on the 23rd June and they might want to have 2 concerts there the following weekend too

according to the guys on IORR.org who are apperently in the know have stated this (one user who has connections with the bands management)

'Nothing is signed as for 2018 shows, so there is nothing to report on really.

There are promoters with wish lists and offers, and several venues are looked into, but until they sign a contract, there is not much you can tell right now.

It is like a deck of 52 cards, where there will be five cards on your hand. For the Stones this year there are may be 50-100 choices to select from and they will choose 5% to 10% based on business and pleasure 50/50 or may be 85/15...

The only thing I can tell you, is keep the summer open. They will tour the British Isles and may be some mainland Europe shows too. And if they get the new album ready, that will be a bonus.

    Bjornulf'

another one i found was a guy Chuck Leavell who works with the band posted this on his personal website
    http://www.chuckleavell.com/2018/01/rock-n-roll-legends-the-rolling-stones-set-for-irish-date-next-summer/?platform=hootsuite

going by this if Irish promoters offer the stones enough money and dont mess up like in 2017 than we may see a show here this summer. Aviva Stadium probly
