Windscreen claim affecting NCB?

    hiya, am shopping around for car insurance, had a windscreen claim a few years ago which i thought didn't affect my NCB? But when I put it in online it with some insurers they won't quote me. Is it worth ringing them for a quote? I was under the impression that windscreen claims didn't count. thanks!

    It usually won't affect your own company but as you have found out others will see it as a claim either way.
