Hi, got a battery changed the other day, now the car horn beeps kinda randomly when driving. Seems to happen more often when turning left for some reason.

Any suggestions what this could be? Could the battery change have anything to do with it?

Getting rid of it soon as it was just a temporary runaround, but cant sell it doing this.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Lose connection/cable to the horn. It randomly short circuits to the ground.

Maybe they activated the attractive person detector sensor, the sunshine brings lots of them out - mostly from the Netherlands - it activates when you pass them on the left hand side.

Theres a driver airbag recall on these and when the unit is being removed from the steering wheel it is possible that the horn connection has come loose. Easy enough to sort.

Thanks, had thought about this, but don't think this has been fixed yet on this car, as i just got it, and received a recall letter a few weeks later.
