Amazon query

Sorry if similar has been asked before but I made a purchase from Amazon on May 1st. It was from a marketplace seller. Straight away there was a €1 charge applied to my card by Amazon as a hold. The following morning €72 was taken for my purchase. This was around what I expected with the currency exchange.

On Thursday then the item was updated to say it had been dispatched and to expect it between May 5th and 9th. Today then i noticed there is €73 extra in my bank account and the transactions for €72 and €1 which were marked as pending have completely disappeared from my transactions list.

Have I any hope of my purchase arriving? Should i make sure there are funds available if thwy make an attempt to re take the money. Should I be worried about anything?

Let me guess, this was a surprisingly good deal?

No, not particularly so. About €15 cheaper than shops here.

This morning there has been a charge taken for €72.72 from Amazon. This is the first time I have had any payments taken like this when using Amazon. Today is the day the item is due at Parcel Motel so it's probably just a waiting game to see if it arrives although no reason it shouldn't.

Sounds like they put through a standard test, then a hold, then the real transaction. Never seen Amazon do that before.

BoI users have been complaining of incorrect activity on 365 this week which may or may not be relevant.
