    Hi,

    Quick question.

Myself and wife waiting for result of planning permission from council. We submitted about 2 months ago with today being the day it was due. So far only irish water is the only one to add a report, and today it has just gone to pending.

What happens if they dont reply by today? Do we just have to continue to wait or should we contact them?

Yourself or your agent will have a letter in the next day or two - most likely tomorrow of it didn't arrive today. There's a very strict 8 week limit until the decision (with a further four weeks until the final grant/rejection).

They don't miss these deadlines very often. I've seen it once in my career and heard of one or two more through the grapevine but it is exceedingly uncommon because it has knock on consequences.

Where do you go online to check premission? I'm after applying for retention, and the 6 week notice is up on the 20th
