Unlock query?

Hi ,i got a phone as a gift.It's not worth much but i want to get it unlocked anyway.

Can i call the network provider and simply ask for the code .There's no SIM in the phone and it's locked to 3

What phone is it? They won't unlock it for free.

Nokia asha 300 its a used fone and I think its 02

What sim would work in an 02 phone now

If its old enough to be o2 then its old owner has certainly used €130 in credit on it, making it eligible. They should request the unlock code for you.

Don't have the sim, who would you call anyway,isn't 02 gone.

Three bought o2 and handle o2 unlocks.

Before its unlocked only old o2 sims will work (new 3 ones wont).
