    Hi,

I have a BMW 116D F21, June 2013 model. The radio is ok, but lacks Bluetooth compatibility with my iPhone. I can connect and make/receive phone calls but wont work for anything else, such as streaming music and Apple Car Play.

Anything that i can do? - What would my upgrade options be?

    Recommended aftermarket products?

    Thank you.

I''ve a 2014 3-Series and got a bluetooth upgrade from Bimmer-Tech, couldn't recommend it highly enough, I can connect multiple phones, stream music, check my messages. I've Android though so I'm not sure of the features on Apple, I assume at least the same.

Let me know what that does if you don't mind, I might pick 1 up myself, I don't like the idea of something sticking out of the ODBC port at all times, bit too close to the door.

The coding option might be the cable option, which is what I used, someone just connected to my laptop via skype and ran it from there, very handy.

Yeah, will keep you posted! - it's doesn't have to remain constantly connected, its essentially just a wireless adapter that you connect your iPhone to, and then download an app that interfaces with the OBD Port and you can select changes etc etc. once done, you remove the dongle thingy.

Ahh, right I get you, I guess you'll probably get similar updates to what I got except for half the price :D
