Optimal shock absorbers

    Other half's Mk1 Fabia has failed the NCT on a leaking offside rear shock. I've been looking online and see Micks have an Optimal brand shock absorber for €23. Has anyone any experience with this brand? - There's very little feedback about them online and although the car is worth very little, I don't want the new ones leaking after small mileage.

    Yeh, I had seen that but very little in it long-term, and more concerned that there's very little on the wider net. I was hoping there might be someone here with commercial experience or knowledge of the brand. Is this a new brand being launched I'm wondering.

    Make sure that you replace both shocks

    At €23 a piece I think I can push the boat out and do both sides while I'm at it ;)
