Does anyone have any advice on the best app for tracking an android phone? Have given my son a bit more independence in relation to heading off with his friends & he has an android phone & have been advised that there's apps available to keep an eye on his location!!!

If he's on Android, and you can agree to have his email password, you can just use the device manager on Google to locate he device.

You don't even need to do that. You could just put a secondary account on the device and track that. He will get notifications that the decide is being located, though, so best to tell him (unless you are to go convert and choose to hide notifications :D )
