    has anyone got any decent recipes for fish burgers, the type of burger that makes a meal almost

    I'm in Portugal at the moment & had a fish burger last night - it was so nice that I asked the chef for the recipe and he obliged !

    Simplicity itself:

    Flaked up salted cod (Bacalao, widely available in Ireland)
    One egg
    Handful of chopped cornichons
    chopped coriander

    Make the burgers and fridge them for at least 30 mins & then just gently fry until golden

    They served it in a doughy bun with salad and a homemade tartare sauce, but a Waterford blaa would do the job nicely
