Just bring your debit card and get cash as you need it

I can't really give you a definitive amount as everyone is different.
Some splash their cash on eating out three times a day, buying trinkets and souvenirs, going on trips, etc, whereas others wouldn't spend so much and could come home with money, so it's really up to you BUT I would suggest bringing more than you need or at least have extra cash in your bank account.

When we went to Spain a few years ago, we spent more than we envisaged so it was handy to know we had extra in the bank to use.

    So have back-up cash.
Apart from possibly over-spending, always think of the unexpected. You could lose your money or an emergency could crop up and if you go with the bare amount, you'll be stuck.

    Have a nice holiday anyway!

about 50 euros per person per day should do it depending on drinking habits.

Because south spain is hot I do not drink much when I am there but drink like a fish at home...ask anyone who knows me.

Torremolinos I find is cool regarding pubs, restaurants and having a good time but I am not fussy.

Spanish people tend to finish around 10pm or 11pm but can go on in small numbers until 2 am. There is no definitive closing time any any mention of such brings on a delightful shrug of the shoulders among most of the bar staff.

I have found that overdrinking can be detrimental the next day because of the unforgiveably hot and dry climate which does not accommodate heavy drinking.

Money will not be a limiting issue when drinking in Spain but the climate will be.

It's Spain and the euro. You use your bank card just as you would do at home. You don't "bring money"

Perhaps OP has been burned before while away with the AIB, BOI, Ulster Bank, PTSB card outages that have occured, sometimes over a number of days and wants to instead use cold hard cash that won't let them down.

Can't speak for yourself or the OP but I have a card with Ulster Bank for best part of 30 years and that never happened to me...
