How do you get your tractor licence after you have the theory test passed?

You need to get a learner permit.

You can drive a tractor unaccompanied on a learner permit.

No need to do a full test.

Now, when you pass your B (car) driving test, you automatically get W, as long as you had it ticked on the learners permit.

You don't need to tick anything. The NDLS will give everyone everything they are entitled to. Everyone is always granted a W too on passing the B test.

In order to get W full licence, you would need to be 16 or over, get the BW theory test, apply for a learner permit, apply for a W test and pass it. Then you can go back to the NDLS with your W certificate of competency and get your full W licence.

It would be interesting to know if many (anybody?) take the W driving test? :)
