I'd have went only for Guns N Roses are on the same day as the final. Munster could also make the final next year or the year after but Guns N Roses won't ever play here again.

Yeah but Guns N Roses are a pack of f*cking w*ankers and Munster are....

Yeah got tickets for Myself, the father and uncle for xmas for the final, really hoping Munster will be there. I was hoping that Ulster would make the top 4 so were guaranteed an irish team in the final

    Munster vs Leinster- 100% going
    Munster vs Scarlets- 100% going
Leinster vs Ospreys- Meh might go for the day out

Can Leinster overcome their shaky form in last few games? I think they will scrape a win against an in form Scarlets team.

Leinster v Munster? Any chance these two teams won't make final?

Away wins against ospreys, Connacht, home win v Glasgow and a narrow loss to Ulster, that's the shaky form?

I'll admit that comment was based mainly on Ulster game and beating Glasgow by a single point.

Glasgow game was far from a full strength team, pretty much a second string pack and completely changed up backline.

Ulster game meant nothing and you could see that in how the lads played.

Wouldn't take either of those games into account when it comes to form.

Add in a clinical beating of Wasps and a narrow defeat in France to Clermont. We are in good shape. Scarlets are a good team, but if we play as we have in the majority of games that we've played since the 6N we will beat them.

I don't know if you can just switch form on and off.

That said I still think Leinster at home with a full sent th side (injuries aside) will be too strong for the Scarlets. In fact I'd be surprised if Leinster win by less than 10 points.

I'm hoping for an all Irish final.Would be a bit of a damp squib were one of the Welsh teams to get through I think. I was blown away by Leinster's very convincing win over wasps myself.

I dunno, there have been a few very good Leinster v Ospreys finals over the years, indeed Ospreys have never lost to leinster or Munster in a final. Either of the irish clubs get to the final and it will sell out.

Although I don't fancy Scarlets to get there, they are as you said playing great stuff. The only damp squib from an attendance would be an all Welsh affair. Even then, it would be a cracker of a game. 4 quality sides left in it.

Really excited about going myself.God hotels in Dublin ramped up their prices for that weekend.

Ospreys are by a decent margin the worst team in the semis.

It will most likely be a sell-out All Ireland final and subsequent massive headache for the mods.

No. I'd have given Scarlets a chance, but Ospreys would need to make a major improvement to do it. They have the players to do it, but I cant see it happening. Only thing you'll say is that Ospreys have plenty of knock out experience, they could go mental on the day and actually win this. Cant see it happening.

As for hotel prices, that's us robbing Jackeen Bashards for you

Guns n roses at Slane on the 27th too so a lot of people will stay in Dublin that night and of course a lot of rugby goers will stay the night too

As for the 19th in Dublin and 20th in Limerick the hoteliers are cashing in on the rugby crowd

Bought tickets last August during early bird special for €15 each (original thread hear - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057639010)

Booked hotel rooms last November - got a good deal in Dublin city center.

It was a gamble that my team (Munster) would get there but ......... so close!!!!

I am going to the game as part of a 25 strong stag party. Here's hoping for an all-Irish final. Most of the lads would never have seen a rugby game so it'll be interesting.

For the sake of the league it'd be great to see a Welsh team in the final, might get them more on board, whereas it's better for Irish rugby having Munster and Leinster in the final playing competitive games

Ospreys have been in and won the final plenty of times. Doesn't seem to have done much good.

Scarlets through to final, bit of a shock!

Leinster were poor on the night.Pity, was looking forward to Leinster v Munster.

Scarlets v Ospreys would be a disaster, would be lucky to break 20000.

They've already sold well over that in tickets - unless you're expecting half the people to just not bother turning up.

I suppose a lot of people will try and sell their tickets online now, especially Leinster fans.Munster v Scarlets certainly won't draw the same numbers as an all Irish final would have.

A lot of people who got cheap early bird tickets may not attend if there's no Irish team in it.

For the sake of the twenty quid they payed for their ticket, I imagine a lot of people simply wouldn't bother. Scarlets and Ospreys don't have massive followings either so it would really be a hollow stadium.

The majority of Leinster fans are going to be in Dublin. Would be a weird group who wouldn't go along to a final they have tickets to. I don't doubt some will just renege but the Pro12 are trying to create an event akin to the European final. People will buy tickets in advance and turn up for a good game. I imagine you'll find plenty of Leinster fans going to support Munster in the likely event they win.

Scarlets are a fine team to watch in full flight, whatever else.

I was at the Champions Cup final last Sat and have tickets for next Sat. Bought tickets for both ages ago. One of the reasons we all like Rugby is the intensity and the intensity goes way up for big games - especially finals.

I was a bit disappointed that not many of the locals in Edinburgh were at the final last Saturday to see two decent teams put on a good game and there were a lot of empty seats in the stadium. I'd be more disappointed if any fans who have tickets can't just go and appreciate two teams getting stuck in in a final.

If we want this Pro 12 to work we should respect all the teams and give this final the stage it deserves. The Welsh will then pay us pay and fill out the millenium when we are there next year!
