Job seekers benefit question

    Hi Everyone,
I think over last couple days i managed to read all threads in this section, however I didnt find answer to my questions. I would appreciate if anyone would have a word of wisdom for me on below.

    A bit of a background:
I've been continuously employed in Ireland since 12/2012 and never applied for any social welfare support before. I changed job for a better paid one in 2016 but it turned out I ended up in a very stressful place that affected negatively my health. Department in which I am employed is permanently understaffed - we are usually down 30-50% and we need to cover for each other which in practice means doing 16 - 20 hours of work in 8. There is no overtime available. Management is actively seeking for new staff, but due to very specific job requirements they can hardly find anyone. Within last 10 months, 12 people in a 11 persons department left the job. Due to this, we have very high absence rate in general, which cannot be compared to any other departments in my company.
Last year I ended up in a hospital and was diagnosed with stomach ulcer due to stress
and have been on a long antibiotic treatment. I also suffer from colds and stomach problems more often than usual and decided that I have to quit my position.

    Current situation
I already advised management of my decision. In my notice I provided last day of work 1/06 to keep the notice period, however company most likely will keep me employed for another 2 weeks give or take, as I have accumulated holidays.
I already started looking for a job in Ireland but I also consider going back to my home country and seek there in the meantime.
Day after my last day at work (when I am still formally employed) I go home for period approx. of 3 week to seek job there and research the job market.
I stay active on my LinkedIn and hope to find job asap, however if I won't find anything suitable until then I thought about applying for JSB. And here are the questions:
-should I do it on the 2/06 if I am formally still employed until +/- 15 of June or should i do it after?
-can i do it even earlier?
-what happens if I apply to late?
-do I have to be in Ireland when my application in being processed if I plan to look for a job also in the other countries (I will keep applying for a jobs online and will be available for the employers in Ireland even if I am home looking for a job there as well)
-if I will be disqualified for first 9 weeks from receiving jobs seekers benefit for quitting my position "without a reason" do I still need to sign in at the office on a regular basis ?
-if I would like to transfer my JSB to my home country, do i need to wait 4 weeks after receiving actual payments or does the "disqualification period" also counts in?

Unfortunately my working hours overlay Social Wayfair hours when I live so I cannot go there in person. I sent and email, but havent receive reply yet.

I would greatly appreciate your help!
