Hairdresser/Barber Query For Limerick City

    :pac:Hi everyone,

I noticed a hairstyle trend of curly hair (men) that seems to be spurred on by Jon Snow in Game of Thrones and literally came across a Joe.ie article talking about its sudden rise.

And I've noticed a lot of lads in Limerick sporting this style of curls on top and a nice clean fade or cut on the side.

For the life of me, I can't seem to find out which place in Limerick is doing this service (barber or salon) - perm etc but it appears to be one as these curls are definitely not natural so maybe its the same thing. I'm a male so not exactly familiar with the lingo :).

But does anyone know a good salon or barber in Limerick that seems to offer this style and a general price range as I have noticed a lot of guys with the style in the city? I have my hair pretty long and would rather get the curls in as it would be less hassle than styling every day.

And, please refrain from the typical ''no, don't do it''. :pac:

    Thanks :)

Something along the lines of this picture.

Personally think it's a ridiculous style, way too feminine and looks manky too.

Jon Snow curls are hot, that picture is not

Honestly though if you must do it then maybe try the guy that works in Headmasters on Roches Street.

    Hey thanks for the reply.

Do you know by any chance does they guy in this place actually do the style?

And yes, I I admit I could have picked a better picture 😂

It's called the "tumbleweed" Just go into any good barber and ask for it, they will know what you want.

It seemed very popular among Leaving Cert-age Gaeltacht students from Dublin last summer, but the trend seems to be spreading since the New Year. A bunch of my 2nd Year students all have the style at the the moment. They look like dopey little clones of each other.

I was told the look originated in South Korea, but I have no idea if that's true or not.

No I don't know for certain but I often see guys getting their hair done with him in different funky styles. Maybe one of the barber shops up on Upper William Street might do it? I work right beside the William Street Barber Shop and there are always young lads leaving there with elaborate do's.
