Ok so i had an accident on Friday the 28th of April where i was brought into A&E by a passer by i got seen by admissions where i was revered to exray to see what type of injury they were dealing with after that o was seen in a room by a nures that explained i had a fracture that needed needed a back board type of cast i think is called. Aftre that it was off to get the cast on and crutches and then back over for an othe exray and finally got a prescription for my medication from the same nurse but was signed off by a doctor in Dublin. Now my problem is im not a medical card holder so there will be a cost of course i havent checked for post yet but how long do ì have to wait for the bill and do hospitals take payments by installments?

If memory serves , it's €100 for being seen in a+e.
    They don't take installments.

It's only €100 for the whole thing. There are no separate charges for X-rays or casts.

Unless you're not an EU citizen with an E1-11/16 exemption (you don't need the card anymore- just a documented exemption).
I'm guessing from the OP's post they may not be an EU citizen.

Was it a public hse hospital?
Therefore 150e for the whole thing.

Yes amazing value isn't it for all of that!!!
Considering the individual costs if all the care you received add up to way more than that.

    Speedy recovery to you

If your accident was a road traffic accident there is a separate fee for that. Otherwise the €100 A&E charge which is not a hospital charge but a government levy.

Only a private hospital would charge you for x-rays, casts, doctor's time and you would have heard all about it before leaving a private A&E so I wouldn't worry.

yes, they will in cetain circumstances take part payment. call the number on the bill, and tell them you can afford x per month. they are very good about that sort of thing, and prefer to get the money eventually than not at all.
